Cornlofts Šaldova is a unique residential project situated in the centre of Prague. It represents an outstanding example of the complete urban regeneration of a former industrial building. Sensitive restoration by the developer combined with a new building designed by the Viennese architects Baumschlager & Eberle has led to the original 19th century municipal cornloft being converted into a unique modern loft building, which will find its supporters both among those who prefer the “genius loci” of industrial buildings and those who prefer the advantages of modern housing.

The reconstructed historical building on Šaldova Street offers duplex and triplex, mostly loft-type apartments. This part of the project – Building l – is divided into 4 blocks each with a separate entrance.

The second building is a new building with three entrances, the first two of which (together with reconstruction of Building 1) fall within the first phase of construction. The apartments in this part of the project also provide luxury housing, mostly spreading out over several floors. There are also large apartments situated on a single floor.

There will be a beautiful private garden between the buildings, designed to provide Cornloft residents with space for relaxation.

Residents and future owners of the apartments will find underground parking with cellar units situated near their parking places.

Security will be ensured by a round-the-clock guard and a CCTV system. The entrances to buildings and underground garages will also be secured using chip cards.

Cornlofts Šaldova is a residence with a distinct industrial character, representing world-class architecture. This is not housing to suit everybody, but Cornlofts Šaldova does not want to be just anybody.
